Working Method

Part 1
  1. Mix Hunters premix, water and yeast for 2 minutes on slow and 5 minutes on medium speed using a normal spiral mixer.
  2. Scale vetkoek at 100g each.
  3. Place in proofer for 50 minutes.
  4. Let vetkoek stand outside proofer for a further 10 minutes before frying. This makes handling easier.
  5. Fry in hot oil at 170°C till golden brown.
