Working Method

Part 1
  1. Place measured water, egg and sponge mix into mixing bowl first.
  2. Mix for ± 1 minute on slow speed and 10 minutes on fast speed. Make sure whisk has full compliment of wires.
  3. Scale off 3600g batter into a greased and paper lined tray.(75 cm x 45 cm)
  4. Bake at 180° C for ± 25 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and leave sponges to cool.

  1. Warm up Ambiante and Choc Discs Dark in a pot and melt together into a pourable ganache.

  1. Cut 9cm wide strips and cut in half length ways then sandwich back together with Whip & Go Choc and Strawberry Pie filling.
  2. Cover the cake strip with Choc Whip & Go.
  3. Place the cake strip on a dripping tray and pour the Choc Ganache over, leave to set.
  4. Mark and cut the cake strip every 5cm across, therefore each slice will be 9cm x 5cm.
  5. Decorate with Choc Whip & Go and Strawberries.
