Large Chocolate Mousse Cake Slices


Working Method

  1. Place measured water, egg and sponge mix into mixing bowl first.
  2. Mix for ± 1 minute on slow speed and 10 minutes on fast speed. Make sure whisk has full compliment of wires.
  3. Scale off 1000g batter into a greased 10 inch ring.
  4. Bake at 180° C for ± 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and leave sponges to cool.
  6. Mix all the FILLING Ingredients together with a whisk till a smooth paste has formed.
  7. Cut sponge in half and fill with chocolate mousse.
  8. Ice cake with chocolate imitation cream.
  9. Decorate with chocolate shavings and dust the choc shavings with icing sugar.
