Rock Buns


Working Method

  1. Place measured water or milk into a mixing bowl that has been fitted with a flat beater.
  2. Add country life scone mix and mix on slow speed for 30 seconds. Scrape down bowl.
  3. Then mix for 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping down at least twice then add bakers mix.
  4. Turn out onto a dusted surface, take mixture in hand and squeeze out between thumb and forefinger ± 120g.
  5. Place rock bun on a greased pan, brush with sunset glaze and sprinkle with sugar rest for 15 minutes.
  6. Bake at 210° C for 15 - 20 minutes with damper closed.
